Snow Day(s)!!!!

Our first day back to school was supposed to be today, but between Tuesday and Wednesday night, Milan was blanketed with snow. Enough snow, for our private bus company to decide against braving the roads. So many stories could and perhaps will be told, but never being able to sleep after a day of school had been cancelled, Amy and I put on our boots and headed out into the city. We invited Mike, Annie, Jenna and Julie but, there were no takers. so we were on our own. Here are a couple of photographs.



I will try to write more tomorrow, because guess what!? We don't have school until Monday and rumor has it, it is because Milan has no salt for its streets and if you had watched the Milanese drive today, you could see why people should stay home. No Scandinavian flicks happening here! We actually helped push two cars that were stuck before taking a break and having a cappucino and brioche in the Brera
