Graffiti

One thing that is not always beautiful nor inspiring is Milan's conspicuous graffiti. It is everywhere, on old and new buildings alike. A common question uttered by any new comer, "Why don't they do anything to stop it?" Yet, as time passes, one slowly notices it less and less, until it is much like riding through Chenango County hardly seeing the many aged trailers dotting the landscape of green rolling hills and beautiful maple trees.

Photograph: This piece of graffiti is in one of the tunnels I ride through on my way to work. It is one of my favorites. Unfortunately, most of the graffiti is an eye sore instead of art.
