Appertivo with the Girls

After Elizabeth, Sonja, Caroline, Jenn, Amy and I took Tracey out for drinks and appertivo, Tracey and I found ourselves at a small Sardinian Pizzeria, eating pizzas and drinking wine finishing the night with a digestivo of limoncello. The waiter loved Americans and told me he couldn't blame us for President Bush. After all, the Italians had once chosen Berlusconi. The whole conversation was in Italian. So it gave me a glimmer of hope...hope that someday I could talk politics in this country that I love.
